Some 71 percent of social networking users aged 18 to 29 have changed the privacy settings on their profile to limit what they share with others online, according to a new digital identity survey from Pew Research Center.
New study from the Pew Institute says teens and young adults are keeping a closer eye on their online reputation and privacy settings, when compared to older adults. Need a quick fix to “fix” your online reputation? First, delete unwanted pictures and content. Next, become the master of reverse search engine optimization.
The Web often comes across as a global watering hole where young adults freely trade personal information while more cautious older visitors stand to the side for fear of losing a grip on their online privacy.
